Crisis Ready is committed to giving back to the community through a number of means.
EMPA is a not for profit company formed to progress the ‘art’ of crisis communications. Formed in 2006 by Peter Rekers and his associates Barb Ryan and Alastair Wilson, the group holds an annual conference and sponsors research on the subject.
As an Adjunct Associate Professor, Peter Rekers is committed to the development of new talent. Peter delivers a Crisis and Issues Management Course to new and eager practitioners. Work experience programs are also offered to students.
What turns a disaster or major accident into a crisis is outrage from those affected.
